Personal care assistant

Workers provide a range of individualised person-centred personal support services to individuals requiring assistance due to age or disability.

Care Service Employee

Care Service Employees in residential facilities assist and support the recreation activities staff in co-ordinating programs that enable residents to engage in meaningful activities.

Community Services Contact Officer

Community Services Contact Officers are the first point of contact in a crisis situation. They have direct phone contact with clients, identify clients' needs and refer them to appropriate services and support.

Customer Service Staff in Community Services provide advice and assistance to clients, and collect and input client data. They respond to telephone, written or face-to-face enquiries, resolve complaints, and promote and sell goods and services.

Reception front desk staff provide office duties, customer service and are usually first point of contact for the organisation.

Assistant Community Services Worker

Assistant Community Services Workers provide support in any one of several Community Services sectors, working under supervision. Their work areas may include aged care, social housing, youth or mental health work.
